Parfums de Marly’s latest fragrance, an oriental scent called Layton, witnessed a classic launch, where the 18th century, a time period integral to the perfumer, came alive in Dubai
As part of the perfume’s launch in the city, Parfums de Marly hosted an elegant lunch at the fashionable Satin Lounge, Nikki Beach which flaunted some timeless elements such as a menu titled “Table Royale Louis XV,” thus perfectly reflecting the contrast between the modern scent and the perfumer’s classic inspiration.
During the event, professional dancers danced the passe-pieds with the guests after which attendees enjoyed an olfactive experience.
With every creation, Layton included, Parfums de Marly continues to pay homage to its roots that have gained inspiration from the French perfumery style of the 18th century while simultaneously staying true to the essentials of the modern world.
