François Demachy sees the world of Hypnotic Poison as a display of sensuality and has avoided any caricature in rendering its charms. For this new Eau de Parfum, he preferred to summon up the potency of natural harmonies, the strength of deeply evocative floral Absolutes.
He did not seek to push the initial signature of Hypnotic Poison to the hilt, but to exalt its expressiveness, to create an intense sillage that does not overstate its sensual identity.

Infused with mystery, the Hypnotic Poison bottle is an absolute icon, the mischievous incarnation of the forbidden fruit.
It is a tempting red apple, its glass shot through with fire like molten lava. A dark, sensual bottle that is instantly recognisable, throbbing beneath the fingers with warm transparencies that tell of the highest glasswork expertise.
For the very first variation of Hypnotic Poison, making this bottle was an epic adventure, requiring a special process to obtain this deep, dark red. Over five pigments (white, black, burgundy, violet and red) are combined to form a secret bath in which the sensual shapely bottles are dipped. Developed by the master glassmakers of Saint-Gobain, this top-secret process allows the glass to be perfectly sheathed in a thick red resin. A series of firings at different temperatures bring out the translucent shine of this extraordinary bottle.
To mark the birth of this new Eau de Parfum, the incandescent Hypnotic Poison bottle plays on new transparencies, deeper and more mysterious than ever. A dark tie at the neck is finished with a seal to complete the sophistication of a bottle that oozes bewitchment and the powers of passion.
