The Mille Miglia – famous vintage car race turned into legend over the years – was born in 1927 under the impetus of two young Italian, Brescia-born counts. This prestigious, epic event featuring endurance racing cars sets off every year in May from Brescia to Rome, travelling more than 1,600 km through Italy’s most beautiful landscapes.
The Mille Miglia is today one of the most highly anticipated events in Italy. The race’s Grand Start attracts numerous spectators from all over the country to watch this procession of classic cars, each more extraordinary than the last.

The Fragrance
Seductive, sophisticated, this oriental fougère created by perfumers Olivier Polge and Bruno Jovanovic (IFF) boasts a self-assured character. Ready, Set, Go! The fragrance rushes forward with floral lavender notes refreshed by bergamot, while notes of Juniper berries come to accentuate the freshness.The first gear passed, and green notes of herbaceous and violet bring strength to the heart; a fresh, invigorating scent modernized by a leather and asphalt accord.
As it speeds off, this heady contrast unfurls in an oriental base of amber, wood and coffee beans, leaving behind an intensely warm, addictive trail.
The Design
True to automobile and watchmaking codes, the Mille Miglia bottle is adorned in sober yet luxurious matte black and steel. Its elegant, strong lines are highlighted by a black rubber cap, echoing the strap on the Mille Miglia watch, itself inspired by the form of the Dunlop tire at the time.
