Acqua Essenziale Blu is a new men’s fragrance by Salvatore Ferragamo introduced in April 2014. Successor of the last year’s edition Acqua Essenziale
Inspired by sea water aromas, power of waves and nature, this fragrance is reminiscent of the vast expanse of the sea. Constructed as an oriental fougere, this fragrance offers a fine blend of citruses, aromatic herbs, hot resins and precious wood.
Top notes of Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Blu open with accords of green cardamom combined with citruses zest (Calabrian bergamot and lemon) accompanied with paradisone molecules that makes an intoxicating floral scent that fills the room. The heart of the composition lines Atlas cedar, fine, aromatic lavender, cypriol and cascalone molecules, on a hot base of benzoin, tonka, ambroxan and deep, smoky patchouli. Alberto Morillas is the perfumer for this scent.
The fragrance arrives in an elegant glass flacon iridescent in shades from darker to lighter blue leaving the illusion of exotic, tropic sea water.
