Since its founding in Spain in 1985, Iberchem has built a distinctive presence in the fragrance industry, bringing its perfumers’ signatures to brands across international markets. Established in Dubai in 2007, the fragrance house has developed a strong connection with the Middle East, where its creations continue to make their mark.
At the heart of this journey are two accomplished perfumers, Luz Vaquero and Ana Gómez, whose creative perspectives reflect different dimensions of Iberchem’s approach to fragrance.
As Master Perfumer and Head of Creation, Luz Vaquero has led the company’s creative team since 2003. Today, with more than 40 professionals, the team represents a wealth of expertise and creative exploration, helping Iberchem evolve from its Mediterranean beginnings into an international fragrance house serving over 120 countries.
For Ana Gómez, Senior Perfumer at Iberchem, the connection with Middle Eastern perfumery began with a fascination for ambery notes. Discovered during her early years as an apprentice, this passion became a defining influence on her creative journey, guiding her towards the rich, warm and expressive compositions that resonate with the region.
Together, their work reflects the many possibilities of contemporary perfumery, where technical mastery meets cultural understanding and individual creativity. Through their distinctive signatures, Iberchem continues to create fragrances that capture character, connect with consumers and leave a lasting impression.
