Founded in 1921 in the Grasse region, the historic heartland of perfumery, the independent French fragrance house Argeville continues to grow industrially and expand internationally. Led by Xavier Ardizio, it now operates through a network of eleven international centres and employs more than 450 people.

From ingredients to bespoke creations
From raw materials to creative expression, Argeville draws on its expertise across three complementary areas of expertise: ingredients, fragrances and flavours. Combining technical know-how with creative flair, the company develops bespoke solutions that reflect each client’s identity and meet the specific requirements of their projects. In perfumery, a team of thirteen perfumers with diverse backgrounds and sensibilities creates compositions for fine fragrance and cosmetic applications.
Argeville carefully selects its ingredients according to rigorous criteria and develops supply chains built on long-standing partnerships, helping to ensure quality, traceability and availability of raw materials. In Provence, its extraction facility transforms a wide range of raw materials into extracts for diverse applications, combining industrial expertise with an in-depth understanding of natural resources. This expertise also extends to flavour creation. Argeville serves a broad range of sectors, including beverages, dairy products, confectionery, biscuits and food supplements. Available in liquid, emulsified or powdered forms, its flavours are developed to suit the technical requirements of each application and the expectations of each client.

Expertise close to the Middle East
With a centre in Dubai since 2012, Argeville draws on a dedicated team with knowledge of Middle Eastern markets, cultural practices and olfactory sensibilities. Projects are supported at every stage, from marketing analysis through to fragrance development and the production of samples. Automated equipment for stability testing, analysis and sample preparation supports the development and refinement of fragrances. This local expertise is particularly valuable in fine fragrance and the world of bakhoor, where regional traditions and preferences play an important role. It is complemented by an awareness of international trends, bringing local influences into dialogue with new olfactory inspirations.
It is in this spirit that Argeville presented ‘Written in Dust’ at Beautyworld Dubai 2026, a collection of eight olfactory creations inspired by the raw, elemental beauty of Arabian landscapes. Structured around two complementary chapters, ‘Earth Born: Nature Before Civilisation’ and ‘Untamed Creatures’, the collection explores different facets of these landscapes and the imagery they evoke, translating regional inspiration into distinctive olfactory compositions.

Investing in tomorrow’s creations
Argeville’s development is guided by a long-term vision focused on strengthening its expertise and advancing its industrial and creative capabilities. The opening of new centres, including the one in Istanbul in 2025, reflects its commitment to international growth and to supporting clients closer to their markets. This approach is based on the synergy between local roots and international expertise. By staying attuned to market developments and client expectations, Argeville adapts its approach to regional specificities and draws on this diversity as a source of creativity and innovation.
At the same time, the company continues to enhance its technical capabilities while paying close attention to raw material selection, supply chain traceability and the long-term resilience of its sourcing networks. These priorities help Argeville combine high-quality standards with innovation and responsibility, while laying the foundations for the creations of tomorrow.
