Having established a legacy of more than 100 years, Firmenich Ingredients has been at the forefront of development in the perfumery segment by providing innovative ingredients to work with. This year, Firmenich participated in FAFAI 2015 that was hosted in Jaipur, India from 23rd January to 25th January 2015 and received an overwhelming response
FAFAI 2015 was a unique platform that witnesses the participation of more than 1000 delegates from the perfumery industry. Firmenich Ingredients was also a participant and used the platform to showcase several of its new ingredients. The overall event in India was a great success with more than 80 exhibitors of which 42 were major ingredients suppliers.
Here is a brief preview of some of the ingredients introduced by Firmenich at FAFAI 2015
Galbanum EO Rectified 944375
This Galbanum oil has been purified by a specific rectification process bringing to Perfumers an intense green scent accompanied by a turpentine undertone.
Labdanum Res 953642
Carefully collected directly on the Cistus shrub, the gum is processed into Labdanum at source. The resulting outcome is a resinoid whose profile is intense, long-lasting with leathery dry-down and animalic notes.

Bright, powerful, diffusive and slightly animalic, this base is rich in Firmenich captive ingredients which impart a fine unctuous character to all compositions.With a fresh and fizzy undertone, this Wood base surprises that add a modern and elegant ribbon of radiant warmth.
Armenian Wood 260107
Inspired by a traditional paper, used to be burnt and elegantly fragrance home, this base has been created around a main olfactive axis: Benzoin Siam. Some of the most famous Firmenich ingredients are associated to give rhythm, warmth and emotion to any composition while supporting smooth and cosy notes.

Cetalox® is an extremely powerful and complete amber, woody note, warm and rich with animalic character. With complex notes, lots a diffusivity with a broad olfactive spectrum, Cetalox® gives rich and elegant effects to all areas of perfumery. An elegant association of the most elegant woody notes, this base is made of very new Firmenich captive Ingredients, of which the noblest sandalwood effects and Cedarwood from Alaska. A creamy lift, imparting powerful, diffusive and exciting aspects, bringing sandalwood oriented compositions to new heights.
