Paris Gallery launches Ahjaar, a niche line of perfumes, exclusively available at its stores in the UAE.
Paris Gallery, the leading luxury retailer in the region, launched a new line of niche oriental perfumes concocted by French perfumers, in July, 2014. Ahjaar is a ‘precious’ line of eight perfumes – precious on account of its exclusivity, the rare ingredients used in its creation, and what they represent. These are scents that reflect the culture and allure of the East, each symbolizing a Middle Eastern precious stone. They take names such as Fairouz, Kahraman, and Royal Sapphire. This collection is available exclusively at Paris Gallery in the UAE.
In times past, precious stones played a big role in defining cultures in the Middle East, South Asia and Far East. They are believed to possess magical powers. They symbolized wealth and prosperity, and were also used as gifts that celebrated sensuality and love. Similarly, luxurious perfumes also deeply connected with the mentality and behavior of Middle Eastern people. Both precious stones and scents were used to express the sophistication, royalty and wealth that were associated with maharajas and sultans.
Ahjaar is a collection of royal oriental aromas from a prestigious French perfumery and are created using the most desirable ingredients of the East such as oud, musk, osmanthus, saffron and others. This new line of perfumes reflect the philosophy and essence of the Middle Eastern people.
Fairouz
Fairouz, Turquoise in English, is a precious stone that has a great value among other precious jewels on account of the way it forms. This perfume, which is named after it, had been prepared with the same amount care and sophistication. The top notes of Fairouz are made out of violet and musk which settles on a rich heart note comprising of some of the most famous aromatic ingredients such as patchouli and vetiver that rests on base notes of Whitewoods and Oud.
