Yves Saint Laurent celebrates its three iconic men’s fragrances
Yves Saint Laurent celebrates its three iconic men’s fragrances, L’Homme, La Nuit de L’Homme and L’Homme Libre, with EDITION ART, an exclusive collaboration with Norwegian contemporary artist Gardar Eide Einarsson. With the EDITION ART, Gardar creates three limited edition bottles, each with a unique design portraying a contemporary masculinity that echoes his notoriously powerful and subversive body of work.
L’HOMME
The woody elegance of a magnetic, charismatic aura. The fragrance plays on unusual alliances for a more intriguing effect. The radiant top note – citron, bergamot and ginger accord – leads into a floral-spicy heart – violet leaf, basil flower and white pepper accord – underscored by a warm, woody trail – sandalwood notes, Virginia cedar, vetiver and tonka bean.
LA NUIT DE L’HOMME
Shadow and light. Incisive coolness and burning heat. A fragrance of contrasts, between the cool top notes – cardamon and bergamot – and the extremely sensual, haunting, oriental bottom notes – coumarin and vetiver – that embrace the heart of noble, vibrant, mysterious cedar. A modern and racy fragrance that stirs the senses.
L’HOMME LIBRE
A surprising encounter of power and lightness, the fragrance is built around a noble heart of violet leaf faceted by the masculinity of spices and the herbal notes of basil. A fragrance in a state of tension. The nobility and sensuality of woody notes – patchouli and vetiver – find their echo in the opening of hesperidian and bergamot notes igniting a sensation of exhilarating freedom.
