Abdulla Ajmal, General Manager, Ajmal Perfumes, in conversation with ParfumPlus Magazine
Talking about the different formats in which oudh is used, Abdulla Ajmal says that this classification is important as it is from here that the fragrances are also differentiated. First format in which oudh is used is as an oil that people can apply directly. Second format is when the oudh is diluted with water and alcohol, converted into a Eau de Parfum. Third is when you use the ingredient as part of another composition which a lot of international companies are doing. In the fourth option, you use the oudh only as a marketing nomenclature to describe the Arabian preference of fragrances in the region.
