Anya Taylor-Joy Calls Flowerbomb Dew as Her Second Skin

Anya recently shared on Instagram, her love of scent – including her perfume application technique ensuring she resembles “a walkable bouquet.” Delicate and refreshing, Viktor & Rolf‘s new iteration of the iconic Flowerbomb – called Flowerbomb Dew, finds her favour . “It’s my favourite second skin,” Taylor-Joy says, telling Bazaar that she likes “something multilayered that warms to your skin.”

But perfume means more to her than simply another product. “It’s pretty cool that all human beings have their own smell and all fragrances will smell differently on people, so I think that discovering that is something that I’m interested in,” she says.

American born Argentine-British actress Anya Taylor-Joy has been recently captivating audiences in the new Netflix hit The Queen’s Gambit, and earlier this 2020 she received rave reviews for her starring role in Emma, the film adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved 1815 novel of the same name. She spent the late summer shooting Robert Eggers The Northman in Belfast in the midst of a pandemic.

She was the 2017 recipient of the Cannes Film Festival’s Trophée Chopard and was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award.  The same year, she was awarded the prestigious Trophée Chopard at the Cannes Film Festival, which is given by a jury of professionals to young actors in order to recognise and encourage their careers.
