Dripping in diamonds, the Fenty Beauty founder fastens herself up in a bejewelled strapless gown, chiffon cape and, in true J’adore fashion, a layered choker necklace that references the fragrance’s iconic bottle top.
As the camera pans from her looking over the site’s expansive gardens, the scene subtly nods to its original campaigns, when she suddenly emerges, treading water on the Grand Canal and whispering the campaign’s tagline: “Your dreams, make them real.”
“The scent that I have known and loved for so long means so much to women,” said Rihanna in a brand statement. “I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity.”
“Parfums Christian Dior is truly delighted to welcome icon Rihanna, whose wide-ranging talents, remarkable beauty and universal appeal now embody the world of J’adore,” read Dior’s Instagram announcement.
