Encarni Lorente wins Bronze at DETEX Fragrance Creativity Awards
Encarni Lorente, senior perfumer at Iberchem, has been awarded the bronze in the Reed Diffuser category at the fourth edition of the DETEX Fragrance Creativity Awards. Her winning creation, Burgundy Cherry, encapsulates the trend of premiumisation in air care with its sophisticated olfactory profile.
The fragrance combines red cherry notes with an ambery undertone for a long-lasting effect, complemented by hints of vanilla and oud for added depth. “It is enticing, lively, and sweet like a summer fling,” described Lorente. This marks Iberchem’s second win at DETEX, following senior perfumer Isabel Parraga’s Gold Award two years ago for her fragrance, Never Too Late.
