Shaping the Future of Beauty: Highlights and Insights from Beautyworld Middle East 2023

A record number of visitors experienced the largest and most successful edition of the region’s preeminent international trade fair for the beauty industry at Beautyworld Middle East 2023.

Organisers Messe Frankfurt Middle East have revealed the highest attendance and participation numbers for this year’s event which took place at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) between 30th October – 1st November 2023.

Held across 15 halls, with awards, competitions, conference insights and the ultimate opportunity for local and international suppliers, brands, businesses and beauty professionals to network and explore, Beautyworld Middle East 2023, has again cemented its position as the region’s biggest, and globally significant industry trade show by increasing visitor numbers by over 23% on the previous year, welcoming over 65,000 people across the three-day event.

Beautyworld Middle East included pavilions from France, Italy, Brazil, China, Japan, Korea, Turkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States and others countries showcasing fragrance, cosmetics and skincare, beauty tech, personal care and hygiene, hair, nail and packaging products and services.

In the Quintessence segment, international and niche brands showcased a commitment to excellence, presenting fragrances with rare ingredients and stunning packaging. PrestigePack, a new segment for 2023, focused on luxury packaging innovations that elevate beauty products.

The GCC region’s influence in the global fragrance industry took center stage, with projections indicating a market value surge to $10.7 billion by 2027. Beautyworld Middle East highlighted the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the beauty industry, showcasing innovative solutions and ‘home tech’ products for personalized beauty treatments.

As Beautyworld Middle East 2023 concluded, it solidified its status as the industry’s chosen platform for connection, inspiration, and global trade opportunities. The anticipation now builds for the 28th edition in 2024, promising further growth and innovation in the dynamic beauty landscape.
