CPL Aromas Captures Beautyworld Middle East 2022 With Their Creativity

This year CPL Aromas took a three-pronged approach and allowed their fragrances to speak for themselves. Their first approach focused on the core of CPL Aromas - Arabia. Having been the first to start their journey in the Middle East since 2005, this area was committed to speak to customers of this region.

CPL Aromas are one of the few fragrance houses who have expertise in developing fragrances for  local applications such as oud and bakhoor, the entry point of their booth offered visitors a variety of these scents to enjoy. One of the fragrances - ‘Oud Hadasa’ was developed using CPL Aromas’ ecoboost technology that offers a compact fragrance solution with a sustainable edge.

The second part of the CPL experience included a creative aspect wherein perfumers were encouraged to create fragrances by taking inspiration from the art of music. Following a concept of being able to “hear scents”, CPL Aromas created the ambience of a record store featuring the perfumer’s personal favourites & Middle Eastern tunes. “In this modern & digitalized world, we wanted to go retro to give music a scent with texture,” said Elsa Rahal, who was in charge of concept development at CPL Aromas.

The third aspect of the CPL Aromas experience at Beautyworld was the ‘Digital Hub’. With the help of iPad devices and a collaboration with an Emotional Intelligence startup O My Note, an app would be able to record text, voice and video to help pair and recommend the best fragrances for customers based on their input. This incredible innovation captured the attention of hundreds of customers on the stand.

This year’s event featured managers from several locations, including Europe, the Middle East, India, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong, in addition to all perfumers working in the Middle East region. With CPL Aromas’ aim to create together, their innovation and artistry was sure to have inspired many to do just that.
