Beautyworld Middle East Is Finally Here

The show that everyone’s been waiting for, Beautyworld Middle East, is finally here. ‘Quintessence’ returns with the spotlight on niche fragrances and there’s the debut of ‘A World of Scents’ and ‘Signature Scent Journey’ Read on to know, what to expect at The 25th edition of Beautyworld Middle East from 5-7 October 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre

Fragrance Compounds & Finished Fragrance is one of seven product sections at the annual three-day event, with more than 150 exhibitors in this section alone eyeing a slice of a Middle East and African (MEA) fragrance market that, according to analysts Euromonitor International, will reach a retail value of US$5.4 billion in 2021. Organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, Beautyworld Middle East assumes even greater significance as the first major in-person international beauty event of 2021.

“A diverse mix of fragrance exhibitors will use this important platform to demonstrate new-to-market products, reconnect with partners and explore new opportunities in an expanding regional market,” commented Elaine O’Connell, Show Director of Beautyworld Middle East. “There remains strong international appetite for the MEA fragrance market and Beautyworld Middle East is the bridge that connects manufacturers with prospective buyers.  We look forward to three days of dialogue, networking and deal making.”

Spearheading the line-up of fragrance exhibitors at Beautyworld Middle East 2021 are 15 of the world’s top global fragrance creation houses, including Argeville, Cosmo International Fragrances, CPL Aromas, Creations & Parfums, Eurofragance, Expressions Parfumees, Firmenich, Givaudan, Iberchem, International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), Moellhausen, Robertet, Technico Flor, Parfex, and Seluz.


Beautyworld Middle East 2021 will also return with its always popular Quintessence feature, an exclusive showcase of more than 15 hand-picked niche perfume brands, where the perfumers behind the most unique scents in the market today will offer insights into creating a truly wonderful fragrance.

A World of Scents

Meanwhile, Beautyworld Middle East in collaboration with Spanish fragrance house Iberchem will present ‘A World of Scents’, a new olfactory experience taking place throughout different locations of the show floor.  A World of Scents was developed as a unique way for visitors to discover the beauty and benefits of scents beyond the stands of the fragrance brands and companies. The concept will feature interactive installations and innovative concepts to delight visitors. It’s the first time that the show has offered such an experience to its audience.

“We are thrilled to present this new tailor-made fragrance experience at Beautyworld Middle East,” said Guillaume Audy, Corporate Communication Director at Iberchem. 

“Year after year, Iberchem has brought innovative fragrance concepts to the show and this year, the creativity of our team will be featured at a whole new level. The fragrance industry has so much to offer, and it is our pleasure to contribute to spreading the word diffusion.”

O’Connel added : “Creating scents is not just about chemistry, but about creative vision, living, dreaming and experiencing smells through memory, music, shapes, and colours.  A World of Scents will embody this artistic journey and we’re delighted to partner with Iberchem in bringing this unique initiative to Beautyworld MiddleEast 2021.”

Signature Scent Journey

Beautyworld Middle East is also marking its 25th anniversary milestone with the release of a special fragrance that evokes the spirit of the show: Signature Scent Journey will see 15 top international fragrance houses invited to create their own interpretation of Beautyworld Middle East’s signature scent.

The 15 individual perfumes will be displayed at a dedicated area of the show floor, with visitors sampling, and voting for their favourite scent that they believe best captures the essence of Beautyworld Middle East.

Each unbranded bottle will be accompanied by the respective fragrance house’s story behind the scent, the olfactory notes, and the reason they believe it captures the spirit of Beautyworld Middle East.   The winning fragrance house will scent a section of Beautyworld Middle East in 2022, a fitting celebration of the show’s continued success.

Celebrating 25 years

Beautyworld Middle East will be celebrating its 25th anniversary edition this year, with the show’s other six sections covering Cosmetics & Skincare; Hair, Nails & Salon Supplies; Machinery, Packaging & Raw Materials; Personal Care & Hygiene;
Natural & Organic; and Beauty Technology, a brand-new segment.

The upcoming show will host exhibitors from 54 countries and 17 dedicated country pavilions, and will take place amid stringent health and safety measures in accordance with official government, local authority guidelines, and the Dubai World Trade Centre venue. 

Visitors can also gain access to the show’s new hybrid event platform where they can experience AI-powered matchmaking, connect with exhibitors in-person or virtually, discover unmissable products and content, and bookmark sessions they want to attend.
