Beautyworld Middle East 2021, the Arab world’s largest international beauty and wellness trade fair, saw a strong visitor turnout during the show’s  jubilee edition, which closed at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) on October 7,2021.

This year’s event played host to a consortium of leading international, regional, and local exhibitors and industry game-changers from 52 countries, featuring 17 dedicated country pavilions, displaying the latest in the beauty industry.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, Beautyworld Middle East featured seven distinct product segments: Cosmetics & Skincare; Hair, Nails & Salon Supplies; Machinery, Packaging & Raw Materials; Fragrance Compounds & Finished Fragrance; Personal Care & Hygiene; Natural & Organic; as well as a brand-new segment, Beauty Tech, which showcased all the latest industry innovations and beauty solutions.

As part of the Jubilee edition, 17 leading international fragrance houses were invited to create their own interpretation of a signature scent that they believe best encapsulates the spirit of Beautyworld Middle East, which were displayed at the show in unbranded bottles.

Visitors had the chance to sample the different fragrance interpretations and vote for the one they felt were best, with the winning fragrance house getting the unique opportunity to scent a section of Beautyworld Middle East in 2022.IFF’s ‘Oud 3.0’ scent was selected as the winning fragrance, which included notes of oud, mint, pink pepper, cinnamon, ginger oil and blackcurrant.
