Expressions Parfumées: The First Overseas Production Site

Expressions Parfumées opens its first overseas production site, marking a pivotal step in global growth ambitions

Founded in Grasse in 1982, Expressions Parfumées has built its reputation on a balance between traditional craftsmanship and a forward-looking approach to fragrance creation. Since joining the Givaudan group in 2018, the company has continued to evolve, guided by a strong creative identity and a clear ambition for international growth.

“A few weeks ago, we reached a turning point with the construction of our first production facility outside France, in Thailand,” says Christophe Marin, President of Expressions Parfumées.

“This project is about more than just expansion; it represents a brand new chapter in our history. It reflects our ambition to deliver an even better service in a market in which we have been active for over a decade, since we opened our regional office in 2014. The launch of our new factory marks a major step forward for us.”

For Christophe Marin, this development fully aligns with the company’s long-term vision: “Our growth goes hand in hand with the same standards that have always guided us,” he explains.

“Every fragrance produced in Thailand will follow exactly the same processes and quality controls, ensuring the same authenticity and creative freedom as in our historical site in Grasse. This new facility extends our excellence; it does not redefine it.”

He insists that the objective is to serve customers closer to their markets, preserving what makes the company unique. “Our Grasse heritage remains at the core of who we are.”

“By bringing production closer to Asia-Pacific, we are enhancing reactivity and collaboration, while ensuring that every fragrance reflects the same level of quality, authenticity, and care.”

Designed to meet the highest international standards of safety, respect for people, and environmental responsibility, the Thai site embodies responsible progress.

“It is a step forward that strengthens trust: wherever we produce, the spirit of Grasse endures.”
