The Collection 34 – part two perfume recaptures the spirit of the very first shop of Diptyque’s founders, with a composition that reflects the rhythm of the land and the whimsical nature of the flowers
Capturing the spirit of Diptyque by its founders Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Coueslant, The Collection 34 embarks on a new chapter. Part two of Essences Insensées EDP (sensory essences) launches in Middle East, a composition that reflects the rhythm of the land and the whimsical nature of the flowers that vary from one year to the next.
Jasmine provides the inspiration for this new opus and a very special kind rather that is grown in Grasse. A type of jasmine that the perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, a regular partner of the Diptyque house, knows simply by its smell. To perfect this rich profusion of jasmine, he used two different harvests, one from the autumn, with its delicious strawberry accents, and the other, which is more classic, petalled and heady. A fragrant wonder packaged inside a bottle by Waltersperger, the last semiautomatic glass-maker in France. The amber glass is tinted in the ground, hence why no two bottles are the same. Essences Insensées is also available as a solid perfume enclosed in a metal case.
Available in 75ml, retail price AED 535
