Oscar winner Kate Winslet gained fame in the Hollywood blockbuster, Titanic. Let’s uncover what makes the ‘English rose’ smell like no other
Born on October 5, 1975, in Reading, England, Kate Winslet started acting at age 7. She starred on the British stage until 1995, when she appeared in her first film, Heavenly Creatures. But it was only in the year 1997, when she bagged the lead role in James Cameron’s Titanic, did she get international stardom. She has since starred in several other commercial, as well as off-beat films such as Labor Day and The Reader. Her nomination for The Reader, for which she even won the Best Actress award, made her the youngest actor to get six Academy Awards nominations.
Kate Winslet wears Ô de L’Orangerie by Lancôme. True to its name, the perfume exudes the citrusy fragrance of orange, which rules its top and heart notes. One gets a feeling of taking a walk through a French garden and breathing in the beautiful scents around. The soft green juice represents the serenity and tranquility of a garden.
