Willis, an American actor, producer and singer, has won a variety of awards and has received various honours throughout his career in television and film. His career began on the off-Broadway stage in the 1970s. He achieved fame with a leading role on the comedy-drama series Moonlighting, including Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, The Fifth Element, Armageddon, The Sixth Sense (1999), Unbreakable, and is best known for starring in the Die Hard franchise series.
He has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has been inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame.
