Wood Sage & Sea Salt By Jo Malone captures the essence of the ocean in a bottle
Jo Malone is all set to launch Wood Sage & Sea Salt, a new limited edition fragrance inspired by the British coast, in September. Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne aims to evoke a feeling of joy, freedom and escape inspired by the unique character and qualities of the British beach. To reflect this, the ad campaign was shot on location in Northumberland by British fashion photographer Tim Walker.
“For me this fragrance is different. The sea air mixes with salty spray and the mineral texture of sand and rock. Like the scent of driftwood, it has a natural and fresh sophistication. A complex combination of wood and the sea is at its core. The feeling is of free-spirited liberty and joy.” says Perfumer Christine Nagel who has crafted the scent with much precision.
With a top note of ambrette seeds, a heart of sea salt and a sagey base note, Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne is a whiff of the ocean bottled for some seaside pleasures.
