Based on the combination of notes Christian Dior Sauvage is classified as Oriental Woody fragrance to the nose. The fragrance composition is a creation of Francois Demachy. The emanation of flavours and scent notes for Sauvage unfurl in a whiff of citrus opening top notes including bergamot. The spice heart centre notes blend in with spicy while the deep amber and animal wildlife base notes leave an impression of woody, ambergris and ambroxan.
