Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive – A Refreshing Take On Their Iconic 'Cool Water' Fragrance

For over 20 years, Davidoff Cool Water’s unique blend of freshness and strength has made it one of the most renowned fragrances in the perfume industry.

Cool-Water-Night-Dive-(2)Davidoff has now decided to set a new milestone in Cool Water’s history and to create a brand new fragrance – Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive.

The original fragrance is designed by Jean-Christophe Hérault, pupil of master perfumer Pierre Bourdon who created Davidoff Cool Water 25 years ago. A tribute to this fragrance, Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive offers a brand new take on freshness, more sensual and addictive than ever.

This green oriental fragrance is a contrasted and refined construction. It is based on one of the most qualitative yet seldom used natural ingredients of perfumery, lentisk wood. From crude green beans to sensual and mysterious woody, incensy tones, the richness of its facets is visible throughout the entire fragrance.

Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive opens with a clear and thrilling ‘splash’ sensation brought by a blend of mint and cold watery fruits, carefully assembled to enhance the green inflexions of lentisk. This striking prelude slowly gives way to magnetic and modern oriental notes of cashmeran. Its musky, spicy intensity is faceted with captivating ambery balmy notes heightening the woody force of lentisk.

Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive’s bottle is a complete reinterpretation of Cool Water’s original flavour. It retains its original shape and distinctively architectural silhouette, whilethe tint of the translucent glass reflects the fragrance’s nocturnal atmosphere. The ultramarine to lighter blue gradation echoes the appearance of the ocean at night and the silver tone of the logo is reminiscent of moon’s reflection over water. The silver and blue folding box extends this metaphor, emphasizing the contrast between the dark sea and the bright moonlight on the horizon. This refined look aptly reflects Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive’s sense of mystery and seduction.
