More than a century after Jacques Guerlain created L’Heure Bleue in 1912, the iconic fragrance returns in a new interpretation inspired by the fleeting beauty of the blue hour—the quiet moment between daylight and night.
The new L’Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum distils the concept into a focused composition built around three key notes: an airy ozonic accord, powdery iris and warm vanilla.
The fragrance opens with a luminous ozonic accord, creating a cool, atmospheric freshness reminiscent of evening air. At the heart, iris brings a soft, powdery elegance, while vanilla gradually emerges in the dry-down, adding warmth and a lingering sweetness.
The result is a fragrance that moves from fresh and airy to soft and enveloping, capturing the changing mood of twilight.
The new edition arrives in Guerlain’s signature square bottle, topped with its distinctive inverted heart-shaped cap. A royal blue gradient across the bottle reflects the shifting colours of the sky during the blue hour.
While the original L’Heure Bleue remains an important part of Guerlain’s heritage, this new interpretation offers a more pared-back expression of the same inspiration.
