CPL Aromas x Rocambolesc: The Ice Lab

CPL Aromas collaborates with Rocambolesc to present THE ICE LAB collection at the Barcelona Perfumery Congress.

CPL Aromas exhibited at the 2025 edition of the Barcelona Perfumery Congress, captivating everyone’s noses through a very special collaboration with Rocambolesc, a world-renowned ice cream shop created by pastry chef Jordi Roca and Ale Rivas.

CPL Aromas’ stand turned into a playful ice cream shop, where visitors could discover THE ICE LAB fragrance collection, with each scent specially paired with signature Rocambolesc nose-shaped popsicles, which could be tasted at the final stage of the multisensorial experience.

The collection featured five original creations; each built around an Aromaspace CPL Aromas’ signature fragrance technology, which visitors could smell individually alongside the fragrance:

• Banashore: Rising from a restful and cheerful moment, fruity banana notes make their way between gourmand white chocolate notes. Sparkling salty and spicy accords add vibrancy, while warm solar floral notes wrap the fragrance in a radiant finish. With Seaside AromaSpace at its heart, Banashore captures the essence of a tropical escape, transporting you to paradise.

• Solycaria: A nostalgic ode to carefree summer days. Evoking childhood memories of river adventures and sunflower seeds, this fragrance captures the spirit of slow and comforting afternoons with your loved ones. Pulicaria Incisa AromaSpace takes the lead in this heartfelt olfactive story with its green floral transparent accord.

• Okumatcha: An invitation to a serene Japanese garden at sunset. Juicy nectarine and bright fruity notes meet the calming depth of Matcha AromaSpace, all softened by creamy, milky nuances. A soothing and luminous composition reminiscent of golden-hour tranquillity.

• Cocoa Glaze: Ice in its warmest form. Black Chocolate AromaSpace opens the doors to desire, blending with Habag Mint AromaSpace to keep the freshness in this creation. Enriched by comforting woody notes and a spicy twist, Cocoa Glaze awakens your senses in many ways.

• Hibisicle: Flor de Jamaica AromaSpace takes the lead in this fragrance, which, combined with lively and fruity notes, takes us to Mexico, where this flower is blended with water surrounded by the most colourful settings.

At the heart of the collection lies the emerging neo-gourmand trend, spotlighting edible-inspired fragrances. However, THE ICE LAB goes beyond the expected by incorporating rare and playful ingredients like sunflower seeds, matcha, milky notes, and tamarind, brought to life in popsicle form, thanks to the artistry of Rocambolesc.

This experiential journey, which engages the senses of smell, sight, and taste, sparked the interest of a wide range of attendees at the 2025 Barcelona Perfumery Congress.
