She rose to prominence in the 1990s as a member of the girl group Spice Girls, in which she was nicknamed Baby Spice. With over 85 million records sold worldwide, the group became the best-selling female group of all time. She went onto presenting her own talk show on the radio too.
With so many diverse and bold roles, Bunton loves spicy scents spreading great creative energy. She enjoys wearing Fusion d’Issey by Issey Miyake which is dedicated to Mother Nature, one that invites to discover the power and diversity of untouched nature. It is described as a mineral-fougère perfume and as a contrast of cold and warm notes.
“Powerful, vigorous, and fiery, nature reveals itself (again) with a vengeance. Molten lava pours expressively from a volcano. Fusion d’Issey transforms this eruption of energy into a bold, nuanced composition, giving rise to a creative, endemic nature. Depth, tension, and power for a distinctive fragrance.” is a good description of this scent. The nose behind this fragrance is master perfumer Nathalie Lorson.
The explosive freshness from the beginning of the composition includes citrus and fruit aromas, lemon being one of them, and sweet coconut milk. The aromatic-spicy heart, pungent and fresh like a forest breeze, blends with the sunny amber base and a deep “volcanic” note of patchouli.
It is beautifully packaged in a shiny glass in a deep blue colour, with the inscription Fusion d’Issey printed in bright orange.
